After numerous successful Whole30’s, losing weight, inches and feeling better I realized I needed to try and find something to do everyday that was a little more realistic for my lifestyle. What can I say, I love me some wine and chocolate!

I started to CrossFit and noticed I was starting to get hungrier, and sometimes really fatigued. Started talking to one of my coaches who was counting his macros, and at the time I had NO idea what that even meant-so of course I had him explain. Long story short its keeping track of you macro-nutrients needed for daily function and/or weight lost or muscle gain. It’s keeping track of your fat, carbs and protein. He had me go to http://www.iifym.com and put it in my info and get all my numbers and track a few days to see about where I was at. Being paleo…. I was EXTREMELY over my fat, like triple. Hmm maybe that’s why I wasn’t losing weight anymore!  So I decided to just go for it and see what happens- it couldn’t hurt. First week was rough getting familiar with my numbers and myfitnesspal (phone app that you can download that is so helpful).  2nd week, stepped on the scale, lost 4lbs, 3rd week stepped on the scale, another 2 pounds down. I am about two months into this and I am 11lbs down. I have done this staying about 90% Paleo aside from introducing black rice into my diet for another carb option.  I decided to share all of this with you because one of my coaches suggested  that I start blogging about and I am going to try and do my best to upload my recipes as well as the macro numbers!  I truly believe in this and believe it can be done as clean as possible and I am going to help you all feel as good as I do!
